scanner and software package lets business
people scan receipts, invoices, and other financial
documents to be saved in a searchable
expense database. The software extracts all the
important information from receipts—date,
amount, vendor, etc.—and organizes it into a
database, which can be searched and amended
with comments for tax purposes. The software
also automatically creates expense reports.
